The rotational programme for our future leaders.
This programme has been conceived for MBA students who would like to start their career with us after finishing their course.
Although experience in FMCG will help you adapt to life at Imperial more quickly, we welcome MBA students from all backgrounds as we recognise that diversity enriches our talent pool.
Depending on your level of seniority, experience and overall background, we will find assignments that best fit your profile.
We are looking for driven and adaptable candidates with skills in relationship building, analytical thinking and numeracy and who demonstrate a 'can-do' mentality. Candidates will also need business-level English (and other languages will be required for specific locations).
There are numerous locations available within the business, including UK, Spain, Netherlands, France, Germany and USA.
The options will be discussed with you during the selection process and once we've begun to understand your profile, although any preferences and limitations will be noted at the application stage.
Rotation choices are based on your profile and preferences, as well as on the opportunities open in the business. We therefore provide a flexible path tailor made for each candidate, rather than a pre-established 'one-size-fits-all' approach.
As with the locations, available opporutnities within the business are discussed with candidates during the final stages of the selection process.
The rotational period will give you the opportunity to build your business acumen and networks. It will also give you visibility and allow us to get to know you better, helping you to land the role that suits you best.
Candidates usually finish their rotational period before taking up a longer-term role. You are, however, welcome to apply for any position that may become available in the company at any stage of your rotational period.
We have one selection process per year which runs between September and March.
Students applying now will go through the selection process over the coming months and offers to join the programme will follow for successful candidates between 20 June and 20 December 2020, depending on individual business school expectations and your personal plans.
Our selection process is made up of five stages:
We have several selection HUBs running identical processes in parallel. Candidates selected from each of the recruitment HUBs will join the talent pool and assigned to roles in locations not necessarily related to the HUB through which they have applied.
During the application process, candidates are expected to choose the location of the HUB which best suits them for the face-to-face stages of the selection process and make themselves available for the assessment centre at the required time and place. HUB location details are as follows:
